First ever World Wheelchair Bodybuilding Champion Dan Smith
Dan started training when he was 20 and competed in his first bodybuilding show, in 2005. In 2006, Dan was in a horrendous accident when he fell through a roof at work. This damaged his T-12 vertebra in his spine and left him in a wheelchair. After months of rehab, he got back into the gym.
In his debut appearance after his accident, Dan won and became the first ever IFBB Amateur Wheelchair Bodybuilding World Champion.
In 2010 he turned pro and is now a full time IFBB Wheelchair Pro Bodybuilder.
Dan's recent social media post
Dan says “As a wheelchair bodybuilder my arms and joints get used constantly, they ache with mild pain so the use of Xenca Revitalise Collagen has helped massively with a heaped teaspoon twice a day.
I also eat a large amount of meat in my diet but I'm not great at eating vegetables so the Xenca Five a Day+ has been a brilliant supplement in my diet especially as I need to control my bowel/bladder and this product really helps me with keeping regular control.”
